Heritage, culture, community
Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation in Brooks, California plays a unique role in the community as a leader in land stewardship, conservation and farming while also serving as the largest private employer in Yolo County. The Tribe needed a communications partner that could provide a comprehensive strategy to seamlessly coordinate all tribal operations, engage the surrounding community and its business stakeholders, and position Yocha Dehe as an efficient self-governed nation.
The Tribe enlisted Pyramid to assist in the development of strategic communications and outreach efforts related to a full spectrum of issues, including culture, environment and education. Pyramid is working with staff members and the Tribal Council to identify audiences, messages and strategies to effectively communicate both internally and externally, and create a roadmap that guides communications for all tribal entities and programs for the coming years.
Our work includes executive leadership counsel, design, comprehensive communications planning, media relations, energy and environmental strategy, and the design and development of the Tribe's new website, www.yochadehe.org.
