POSITION SUMMARY

Applying a balance of creativity, marketing smarts, and passion for cause related work, as a Strategist, Digital Marketing you’ll plan for and support digital campaigns and communication efforts across multiple channels. This role is responsible for collaborating on everything from strategy to tactical execution of creative content and campaigns that support initiatives and causes to transform communities and our world.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL PRIMARILY INCLUDE:

  • Lead, guide, and support clients and internal colleagues by building integrated digital communications plans across multiple channels (i.e. social media, email, websites, paid digital advertising, and more) on deadline and on budget.

  • Conduct audits to analyze the performance of communications programs by conducting thorough reviews of analytics and metrics for social media, email, website, digital ad accounts, and more. 

  • Lead the planning and execution compelling content across digital channels, specifically:

    • Social media (strategy, content development and planning, publishing, community management and monitoring, etc.)

    • Email marketing (strategy, content development, list management, and distribution, etc.)

    • Paid digital media planning and management (SEM/PPC, social advertising, digital display, etc.)

    • Website content management and page building (create, update, and maintain web content on various platforms, including Wordpress, Squarespace) 

  • Monitor and prepare evaluation reports based on identified key performance indicators for short and long-term campaign activations.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Participate in and be ready to support discussions and brainstorms from everything to digital-first creative concepts and ideas for awareness, engagement, growth, or fundraising campaigns, as well as branding, naming, and messaging.

  • Participate in business development activities and marketing efforts for the firm, as needed.

  • 4+ years of experience working on social media management, content marketing, communications planning and management, and/or digital content creation

  • Experience and familiarity with content writing and development for various social media and email marketing platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, MailChimp, etc.) 

  • Comfort and familiarity with website content management systems (WordPress, Squarespace, Drupal, etc.) and web analytics 

  • Experience and familiarity with paid media placement for digital channels, specifically Facebook Advertising, Google Adwords, Twitter Ads. 

  • A willingness and ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • An ability to organize and track multiple deadlines and project details and communicate effectively in a timely manner with internal staff, clients, vendors, etc.
