Mariah Hays

Mariah Hays is a member of the Raven Clan of the Gitlaan Tribe of the Tsimshian. She joins Pyramid with a background in foreign policy and governance after previously working for the Secretary of the Air Force, International Affairs and International Security and Non-proliferation Bureau at the U.S. Department of State, and the Office of Senator Maria Cantwell. Mariah was inspired to reframe her experience in working with the Native communities in her hometown of Seattle after the policy changes on the Tongass National Forest in the last two administrations. Her clients include the Yakama Nation Fisheries, Native Organizers Alliance, and National Indian Health board. Outside of work, Mariah is enjoying connecting with Seattle’s music and outdoor activities after returning from 8 years on the East Coast.
