Emily believes in the incredible power of communications to shape our world and how we see and engage with it. As Pyramid’s CEO, she leads the firm’s team of strategists and creatives to use that power for good: crafting narratives and designing strategies that create lasting change.
As a listener and creative problem solver, Emily partners with activists and leaders, initiatives and organizations, foundations and businesses to cut through to the core: getting clear on a vision for success, identifying the most central unifying story, and strategic path to accomplish goals. She brings nearly 20 years of experience to leading complex issues and advocacy campaigns to raise awareness, shift understanding, and drive action.
Emily was recognized by the Portland Business Journal as a member of the 2018 40 under 40 class following her work engaging the local private sector in social responsibility. She holds a degree in International Studies from the University of Washington.
