A network reimagining developmental education

Strong Start to Finish is the result of some systems-level thinking by funders, organizations, and institutions about how to reform higher education to better support student success. The core team responsible for this work came to us with their vision to scale proven reforms to developmental education so that all students — and particularly racially minoritized students — would be supported to succeed in their first year of college and get off to a strong start.

Building the tools for effective communications

 

Working in collaboration with Education Commission of the States, the organization that serves as the host to the Strong Start to Finish network, along with their Funder Advisory Board, Pyramid helped to create a name, brand, messaging, and communications strategy to support the network in achieving its mission.

We have continued to support Strong Start to Finish to hone its strategy, including auditing the initiative’s communications; developing strategic recommendations for how to use communications to encourage adoption; editing and designing reports; and helping to facilitate the network’s annual convenings.
