Community input for community change

Pyramid worked with Pearl Jam to bring our community closer to those experiencing homelessness by  increasing understanding of the root causes behind homelessness; by building empathy for people experiencing it; and growing support for innovative solutions in Seattle and King County. To guide our work, we convened a 13-member  advisory group of people with lived experience of homelessness, service providers, program officers, and business leaders.

$11 million raised

Together, we created a campaign and narrative to engage the community over several months, culminating in two hometown concerts by Pearl Jam. In advance, the band, more than 150 partners, and our team activated the campaign across digital, traditional, and in-person channels. When the campaign wrapped, it had raised $11 million to address homelessness in the region, which was granted under the guidance of the advisory group.
