David (Dox) is the President and founder of The Workshop. Dox founded The Workshop twenty-six years ago out of a love for the power of community celebrations. Dox was one of the original Bumbershoot Arts Festival planners, and an original One Reel Vaudeville Show producer. Today, he continues his passion with The Workshop and has produced iconic Seattle events such as the grand opening of the Benaroya Symphony Hall, Lake Union Fireworks show and the Summer Nights at the Pier concert series. Originally from Flint, Michigan, Dox now resides on Bainbridge Island and considers himself a Native of the Pacific Northwest. Dox is a member of the Oneida Nation and attended Evergreen State College.
